More on component shortages.

Well it seems that Higginsons is having problems with powder shortages as well....

Here is a copy of an email I received today:

"Currently we only have the IMR 7828SSC and the H-110 in stock.
All of the other types were back ordered on our last powder shipment.

Thank you."

This is from an order that consisted of H-4895, IMR-7828SSC, IMR 4895, H4831, Varget, H110, IMR 700X, & H4350

7828SSC is a great magnum rifle powder. I love the stuff. It's a bit slow for regular calibers though.

I just picked up 10lbs of Varget at WSS last week. I'm set for a month or two now.

I left 5lbs for others but it's probably gone now. I think their entire order lasted less than 24hrs.

P&D also got some the same day as did The Powder Keg in Kamloops.

Don't know what their bullet selection is like, but holy cow. I was just looking at their Hornady list, and the 165 IB's I bought at Xmas for $32/100 are now $71/100...
