As far as I understood, these weren't legal for texans either.

If the government doesn't give the middle finger, HK will themselves (or so my fine american neighbours tell me :D ).

Nope..they are legal in Texas.

I have a letter around somewhere from the CFC stating that if I can find an MP-5SD3 around for sale, I can buy it, since I'm 12(5) and the SD-3 is on the list for 12(5).

Unfortunately, I haven't seen one for sale anywhere....I think I'd trade a nut to buy one....I've fired them before, and they are TRULY a joy to shoot.

NAVY - that fell by the way side - the M16 series and Thompsons are registered the same way -- a few enterprising CGN's attempted it -- it appears that this is the ONCE area where legistlative specifics where overturned by generalities (go figure --its Canada - we make our law up as well go)

Its about the only thing you can't legally own in Texas. Lets compare that to Canada.......okay, just kidding.

"is that straight edge registered sir..."
You can legally own a suppressed full auto MP5 in Texas. That's where I was when I shot the one I did. Shot a suppressed m16 as well.
