Morrison Lever-Action, Birdshead Stock - .44 Mag., 12" Threaded, BLK [ML1912MF-44]

I'd like to see some proper reviews/Multi round tests etc. on Morrison. Likely on par with CANUCKS. But, last time I tried to look/check, I haven't found any reviews of this specific "Brand"..as per, the price is right'.
*Edit* Found some info /reddit etc. least they have a 2 year warranty, serviced by SFRC.

I have the Timberwolf Nickel version 357 Magnum. I have fired almost a 100 rounds of reloads, and factory 357 without issue. At 25 yards it was clover leaf groups. My indoor range is only 25 yards though. I do really like this rifle.

Hey Thnx HotToddy! This is what I've been looking for. I've had my eye on the Stainless 12" model. One thing I've been reading is certain factory loads have had feeding issue & blowing out primers. I have a bunch of .357, when I had a revolver. Wonder if they won't function as well, if they're all 'round nose'. They were saying 'Flat Nose' for a lever action?
I know I have some semi-wad cutter .38 Special. Wonder how those would run? I do have .357 dies, but just a newbie at reloading.

A couple things with levers and bullet shape.
Pointy bullets, or excessive recoil and round nose bullets are no good due being tube fed, those pointy bullets are pressing all on the primer of the round infront of it. Might be fine, might not, but not something you want to really risk with a possible chain reaction that close to your hand and face. Hornady leveraction bullets have a soft gummy tip so they can be pointy.
Wad cutters and swc are the correct shape for the feeding tube, but don't always play nice in the loading ramps.
You can try, and then adjust the length of them to see if they do, but don't count on it.
Round nose flat point are pretty well good to go at the correct length. (357 vs 38 special). Some levers will run both sizes no problems, others dont like it. (edit this one says both in the description 44mag/44 special, so it should run both sizes.)

For reloading make up a few non primed, no powder dummy loads and see how they function before committing to loading them up.
Honestly some levers are more picky then others, but with the dummy rounds and even working the lever a bunch you can find something that works.
This is all from a Marlin perspective as well... I have never tried a morrison, yet.
