I have a 1944 Isheveck 91/30. I bought it from trade ex awhile back. It's in great shape and I've upgraded it with a Finnish sear and two stage trigger. The rifle is all matching and has the sling and bayonet. What would be a reasonable price for me to ask for this rifle? I just bought two Finn captures on the weekend and I may thin the herd a bit.

An Izhevsk arsenal -produced Mosin-Nagant rifle model of 1891/1930 (new round receiver, not re-built on an older hex receiver) is the most common example to find, save for their last year of production (1945) being rather scarce.

Lacking photographs, we can't see if it has a stunning wood grain that would make this more desireable, nor identify a sniper, MO stamped, or other variant, and judge the over-all condition.

Deviance from original configuration could normally be a problem for military collectors, but since this rifle is squarely a common shooter, functional up-grades might be welcome. That usually means a fraction of the out-lay will be recovered, not the full price of work and more.

The Canadian market is currently fairly dry on available 91/30s (and all Mosins). With new shipments expected in a matter of months, this is probably the best time to sell common stuff quickly. Still, the $150 end sounds more like it to me.
