Mosin Brass Barrel Band

Hi, I just recently bought my first Mosin and it's a bit different from most I have seen and was wondering if it's uncommon. It's a 1942 Ishevek ( spelling ) but it has brass barrel bands on it. I've never seen them with brass before always just the black. I'm not the best at posting pics so thought I'd just throw out the question first and if needed add the pics later ( hopefully not needed lol ) Thanks in advance.
 
If you are talking about the metal bands on the rear and front of the handguards , they come in blued steel, brass and copper.
 
Yes I have them, as well as silver ones and black ones.
I call them caps though. Bands are the 0 shaped things that secure the handgaurd wood.
 
Yes, caps I guess they are called, on the front and back of the top part of the hand guard. Thanks for the replies, it's a little different and I like different lol
