And please dont jump on me.. its for a rifle that is not original, not collectible and does not have the original stock.

I bought a target crown cutter from Brownells and added a .311 brass mandrill to ensure its centered with the bore. It worked great! I've done 4 rifles with it now and it shows no sign of wearing out.

Dave Manson has a military crowning tool which I've now used for a 1914 pattern Enfield and a 1950 SKS, both of which have tightened groups delightfully because of it.
