I have a 1930 Tula Hex Receiver MN 91/30 that i'd like to put the PU scope+Mount+bent bolt handle on.. Anybody know where to get these parts? is there kits available?

I have access to a machine shop so I could do the work myself, I just need to know what to get and where to get it..

Anybody that has done this conversion? Any advice or tips on what's involved would be appreciated..

thanks in advance

Ukraine is game to you!??!?!?
I love that Seinfeld episode!!

Try http://w ww.Kalinkaoptics.com

I got my Mosin PU of a board member here, and also got my ex sniper 91/30 off a board member. It already had the bent bolt and the original holes, pins, and stock cutout. And it still cost $650, not including my labor. You might be better off buying one of the repros that Tradex is selling, or talk to Cantom, he may still have one for sale.

Albeit, I am glad I did mine the way I did, learned a lot, and all I did was bore sight my sniper in the night before a service rifle sniper match, no grinding, shimming or anything, and it hit dead on the money at 100 and 200 yards!! That has got to be a first for me, that barrel is TRUE!!

Anyhoo, happy hunting. :)

1) They won't ship to Canada.
2) Their scopes and things are all made in China.

Accumounts.com ships to Canada.

* We accept international orders from some countries . However we will need to charge additional fees to cover international shipping and handling as well as insurance. Please contact us for more information.

No they don't...if you look at their list, Canada is not on it. Ask him? They are not allowed to. We seem to be on a select list of some kind...

Got mine from Kalinka with no problems.

What I dont get is the PITA it is to get the base mounted such that you get proper eye relief. I had to go quite a ways back from where it would be easiest to mount it.
