Mosin Nagant ammo in vancouver area?

Hi folks, my first post. I have an SKS, and i purchased a green crate of 2000(i think) rounds of corrosive ammo from frontier firearms in SASK for 200 bucks a number of years ago. I bought a Mosin Nagant today, and i was hoping to pick up some ammo tomorrow within an hour drive of vancouver. Anyone know a place? or does anyone know a place to buy bulk surplus rounds?


So far, this is the cheapest i have found online

But have had no luck in town, except canadian tire who wants 160 bucks for 400 surplus rounds.


I might just buy a few rounds to try out the gun tomorrow, then buy a crate from somewhere. Anyone know where i can get boxes around town? or even surplus crates? I could drive out to mission or whatever if its necessary, not heading to the bush until 3pm.

You should go and introduce yourself first in the greeting & introduction area first. Ammo prices have shot up a lot the past few months so check out some of the sponsors here that are in your area, thats as good as youll find.
