I have a 91/30 and a m38 which one to install in new stock?
91/30 I assume is more accurate with longer barrel but the m38 will look sassier with the short barrel.

Anybody have trouble with the archangel stock with the 10 round magazine?

I had one for a year and sold it, Mine was built as a winter shooter. I sold it new after it got warrentied because...

Plastic Cracks in the winter, Warrenty will cover it but you need to pay for shipping.
Mags don't always slide in and out nicely and siez up They may litterly need to be hammerd out ( 5 and 10 )
The mosin is far to long for it and its awkward, put it on the M38 for sure.
I have a full beard and the cheak rest still "Rubs" my face when firing and I get scrached. If you have no facial hair I imagine it will hurt abit.

The nice things are

it makes it easy to clean because you can keep the stock on with hot watter
its extendable and comfertable
it looks awsome.

Over all for the price point. I would not do it again, I would go for the monte carlo stock at the most. The magaiznes are what sold me but also were most of the problems. Once it cracked last winter that was the end of it for me. I picked up the SKS stock how, it seems more sturdy, If you want a mag fed bolt action just get the savage 10 with mag, better in all ways.

How much is a savage 10 and where is the cheapest place?
You are probably right,
mosin stock $249
muzzle brake $129
10 round mag $29
scope ????
bipod ????

can you get it with a pistol grip?

here is afew mag fed bolts most under 1000$ some with scopes and mounts. And keep in mind these are real precision rifles unlike the mosin. You can get .308 for cheap from tula ammo in bulk, more common and good ballistics. Easy resale. IF your going to tactical bolt actions, these should be your starting point. They have the partial pistol grip, there are pistol grip versions of these but there over 1000$ because the stocks have been moddified from stock. Tbey sell them at cabelas. But with these you will have a real bad ass rifle and you can pretend to be a sniper all day long.

The magazines tend to have feeding issues. The stock is nice, but you lose and end up craving that old school charm of the original configuration.
