Mosin Nagant at SIR

Gee it kinda makes me feel special, lol.

I'd actually say wait and see if SIR gets anymore in. Everyone who I have talked to regarding a mosin purchase at SIR was really happy with the piece they recieved. Sometimes you just don't know until you clean off the cosmo with some importers.
^Very true, I've seen SIR flyers with Nagants advertised at least once a year for the past 3 years. I'd say the chances that they'll get another batch are pretty good. They also regularly get fresh batches of milsurp SKS's as well, both of mine came from there and I'm extremely impressed with the quality (especially considering they're a mail order outfit and have only general knowledge of milsurps!!). Also, it is much more efficient to call them, a lot of the girls at the order desk are really nice and can look things up for you, while sounding cute and flirty at the same time

Yea they are a store location here in Winnipeg. But Wholesale sports just opened a big location a couple blocks away and their prices are real competitive so unless SIR gets their duck in a row they are gonna be in for a fight.

I also heard that cabellas is planning a location here in the next year or so so then SIR will really feel the pinch.

Picked up the pad from the mailbox last night. The box weighted so much, that I thought SIR shipped someone else's Glock to me, but it was just that they included their catalogue for 2006 and another one for this summer.

Ya know what I'm really thinking about is a muzzle break. Has anyone had any experiance with a screwon unit? I'm hoping that a break and the monte carlo stock with a pad will make the mosin a lot of fun to shoot and use for hunting.
