Aside from bad grammar and spelling you posted in the wrong forum. Post in Milsurp.

Bienvenue!
I've seen bent bolt that you screw on the bolt body, after you cut off the original of course, on ebay.
I'm sure someone has a source for these pre-made bolts.

Dont' get the drill and tap bolt kit (I think that is ATI kit?). Get a bolt from Jim the Boltman. He has had a good reputation for years now doing this work of making bent bolts.

Click on photos 1-5 and see his work.
I have one from him. It is great and he ships to Canada.

Great!! My friend will be pleased!

Thank you

Your buddy cannot just switch bolts without fitting for headspace. A good smithy can bend the existing bolt handle though. No idea who or how much though.

The bolt body of a Mosin Nagant has nothing to do with headspace. This is controlled by the bolthead.
Just install the original bolthead in the new bolt body.
Bending the bolt handle won't work - the MN sniper bolt handle is much longer.

Just make your own its easy

I made my own with a 3/8 bolt, a bandsaw, torch, one drill bit(5/16) and one tap 3/8-16 easy and cheap.

Guys we have them in stock. If you want one pm me. It is a handle that you have to give to gunsmith, original will be cut off and bented bolt installed, just like the one on Ebay it is not ATI one. I can ship it to you or you can ship original to me and I can give it to gunsmith to do it on the spot in Vancouver Canada. It is produced at original factory same steel as original bolt. No cross border business. Contact me for pricing at info@westrifle.com . We also have Russian PU scopes for sale.

I think the old Moisin-Nagant is excused the "Red Rifle" designation because it isn't one. It was introduced by a monarchy which was subverted by the Reds. That they kept the old rifle in production for another 40 years simply is a tribute to the well-thought-out original design of the Imperial military.

Besides, if you put an Imperial MN into the same safe as an SKS or something, you're apt to have a battle going on right in your vault. I keep my Finns separating my Imperials from my 91/30s so the floor doesn't get all slippery with oil when they have a fight and one hurts the other! The name-calling alone would embarrass a Cat!

Welcome aboard, M-A-X! Stick around and we'll all have fun. If some of the guys here think your English isn't perfect, then they have NO idea exactly HOW bad my FRENCH is!!!

So, contacted "The Boltman" and he was saying that I would have to fill out a customs report for my bolt stating that it needs repairs. Anyone know where I can get one to fill out?

Exactly right, IIRC sniper bolts where made like that, not simply bent versions of the originals.
