Mosin Nagant bolt question?

Is the bolt on a Nagant sniper and a reguler 91/30 interchangable? Cuz some time id love to take that scope off and get the straight handle feel.

Wait, you have a sniper Mosin and want to make it like a regular one? Never thought I'd see that one on CGN.

To answer your question, I believe it should be interchangeable, but you'd need to check the headspace would you not?

But why wouldn't you just buy a regular Mosin?

Not like i wanna make it back like a regular one all the time but here and there id like to shoot with a straight bolt handle that's it.

But yeah i'm looking for an M44 too

Actually,you can interchange the bolt handle but you must keep the proper bolt head with the proper rifle. So in short, you must only exchange bolt handle I prefer the bent bolt of a sniper with the scope on the rifle Buy yourself another Mosin and let your sniper alone

Except in rare combinations the bolt will fit. But there's the issue of headspacing. That is a whole other issue. You'd likely have to try a few different bolts to find one which head spaces within working tolerance unless you are VERY lucky.

So all in all the best way to buy a second bolt for that straight handle experience is to get it with a free rifle attached....
