Mosin Nagant "k k" stamp?

Hi there, just looking into some of the markings on my new 1943 Izzy Mosin Nagant. Most are easy to find, but then these 2 random stamps on the bottom of the barrel have me stumped.

Any thoughts?

Most likely the guy/gal who lined up the barrel to the receiver. As the rifle passed through its assembly, workers would indicate with a stamp/mark that their responsibility has been properly completed. Just a guess.

Makes sense considering the line on the receiver matches on the barrel next to the letters.

On a side note, as you can see this rifle has a bent bolt but no signs of drilled and tapped holes on the receiver... All matching (not electropencil) numbers.... weird.

Just came in the mail today, picked her up off the EE. Haven't hit the range yet.

You'll love her!! I have a '42 and I can hit a 8" gong at 200 yes for a pass time. It's fun when you find a good one.

Took it out to the range today, once I corrected my hold to account for the punch I really enjoyed it!

One issue was the top handguard was sliding forward, looks like the band's aren't holding it in place well enough... ended up leaving a rub mark when I slid it back in place. ...
