This Mosin Nagant came from an estate. Looking for information and an idea of value. It's been cleaned and checked over by a gunsmith.

Finnish issue Mosin Nagant Model 1891 rifle. With typical Finn two piece stock and sling swivels. Need a photo of the receiver and barrel shank markings to tell you more.

Taking it out of the stock to see the markings on the tang is a good idea so you can see the manufacturer and the year. Many were rebarrelled so shank markings may not tell you everything. Will not, in fact, based on the Sideview of the shank I can tell it's rebarrelled.

The bolt is of Westinghouse manufacture with minor parts from Tula and Izhevsk.

Russian receiver rebuilt by the Valtions Kivaaritedhas arsenal in 1942. SA (suomi armeija) finn property mark.

Because of the refinished stock, $650-700
I’d agree, I paid 850 for my Tikkakoski m91, it was in good condition and included ammo but I still think I overpaid a bit (tradition of getting your first Milsurp :) ). I think that $650-700 is pretty reasonable given the stocks refinished. Bore looks good, so it would probably be a good shooter and it still has the Finnish sling swivels.

That’s a nice Finn, she should be accurate if she hasn’t been tampered with, I had one that would vertically string a mag full every time at 200yds, deadly to say the least. Too bad her stock was tampered with.
