Mosin Nagant M1891 Imports?

Does anyone know if Mosin Nagant M1891's and the variants of it were ever imported into Canada separately from any 91/30 import? Or is it the case that they were mostly updated in 1930 and have made it over through 91/30 shipments?

How rare are the 1891's in Canada? I had a great grandfather fight the japs with one in the Russo-Japanese war as a cavalryman and would like to get my grubby paws on one!

You can find the ones Finland used easily, depending on how much your looking to pay.

Basically only two imports into Canada of the original M-N M1891. The first import of a small number in the early 1960's were surplus Spanish Civil War guns and the next one in the early 1980's were surplus Finnish captured guns.
