Mosin Nagant M1933/50

. after spending hours on various Mosin .Nagant WEB SITE; trying to figure out the M1933/50 , whit out any luck, can someone help me on this one ,it similar in some way to the m91/30 the receiver is exagon , the receiver has been sterilised, no marking at all on it, as a star on the barrel , barrel is 28.75 inc.sorry but dont have a digital camera or the know how to put picture on the site Bob

There's no model M1933/50 or M91/50.

Is the front sight hooded? Is the rear sight leaf flat or arched?

The M91/30 has a 28.7 inch barrel.

With a 29" barrel, I'm at a bit of a loss. The 91/30 barrel is 28.75" so I assuume you men that.

If it has 1933/50 on it is there also an MO marking?

Positively stamp 1933/50 on barrel, in front of receiver, remesure barrel , 28 and 3/4 is correct ,front sight is hooded, appr. half inches wide base, rear leaf is flat, do I have a unusial model ?? Bob

Yes, it sounds like a 91/30 retained by Ministry of defence after war's cessation. MO rifles command a small premium over non-MO rifles.
