Where in Canada can I buy a M44? :confused:

Polish m44 they show up on gun showes from time to time sometimes still in storage wraping. They went up in price over last three years
 
Polish government released 4000 last summer for the Polish market. After diactivation they were selling for around $400 all brand new rifles
 
This ones are sold to Lucky few in Poland allowed to own them, the price is 2490 PZL which is almost $900 Canadian. Becouse of this prices they are rather selling them in Poland and Germany
We had 15 almost unissued Radom Mausers wz.29 we were going to have them imported to Canada but the German exporter who was handling them for us paid us better then we could expect to get for them here
 
Wow. I didn't realize they were that few and far between. I bought mine off a buddy for a hundred bucks. His dad collected them and he wanted to offload the duplicates and triplicates because they were too much to lug around when he moved. I offered him $200, he countered with $100. Sold of course. I also got a second one date stamped 1914 in amazing shape for $150 for my brother for christmas. Think I'll be holding on to mine for a bit now.

Are you talking about a rifle version, or the carbine version? The m38 and the m44 came out in 1938 and 1944 respectfully.
 
They are really fun rifles. I had one briefly and loved to shoot it. The recoil wasn't as bad as I had been made to believe and it was pretty accurate at the 100 yard gongs too!
 
Picked up a minty 1946 Russian M44 for $325 earlier this year. I need to work up some cast loads for it now that I finally got some bullets cast.
 
picked up a polish m44 for 160 shipped 2 years ago :D, Didnt know what I had until I read about them on here shortly after. Its a great shooter and very accurate
 
I'm sitting here, money in hand, waiting for the promised imports on this site.:) When the hell are they going to get here?
