Mosin Nagant

I have a line on a couple Mosin Nagants new in wrap. Not sure the maker as yet, just that they are 7.62x 54R. The guy wants $300 each. Is that in the ball park?
If that`s a close price I can find out more. I know nothing about them

Probably the polish M44's? In the wrap is nice, but I dunno about $300.

Unwrapped Polish M44's are advertised on the EE in the $250 range. I don't know if they're selling at that price though. I paid $110 for a brand new one 20 years ago.

Personally I wouldn't pay that much.

I guess I am too used to getting all my Mosin's for $100 to $150. Any more than that and I start to balk.

Unless they are very rare versions with consecutive numbers, I'd offer him $350.00/$400.00 for the two rifles.
Then I'd call all my friends and sell one to make one more happy shooter...

Yes, they certainly could be. Mine Radom was brand spanking new when I got it. Matter of fact, it still bleeds cosmoline when I shoot it.

Polish M44s came cradled in crates back then (6 per if memory serves). I've never seen one "wrapped". Saw No4Mk2 & MAS 36/51come in wrapped.

I bought mine...18 years ago...and it was $150

You must have bought yours from the factory in 1954

I have yet to confirm what they are. I`d expect they`d be the M44`s but will know later.
