i removed the rear sight on my mosin, i removed the whole block off not just the leaf. The first pin was a sinch to remove with a couple wacks from a punch and hammer, the second was really stubborn so i just drill pressed it out. There is a dove tail there now, my question is, do I go buy 3/8" dovetail rings? I measured it with a tape measure and it seems half an inch.
