Anyone have this issue? I just bought my mosin and after the 10th shot the bolt came right out of the rifle when I was ejecting the last round...
I noticed the trigger was all sloppy so I went home and took it apart. I saw that the sear spring was loose which in turn made for a sloppy trigger. I also noticed the screw wasn't in all the way so I backed it out and removed the trigger pin to dissassemble the trigger mechanism. Upon inspection of the parts I noticed the screw wasn't in all the way because it was stripped!
It must have happened in the refurbishing of the rifle as I had to clean the cosmoline off the rifle, I don't blame the seller (if your reading this... :) )

I could do that, all I need is a new capscrew and the right tap... Anyone know the size of the capscrew and tap?

Good news bad news. IIRC the screw is a 55 degree thread. Tradex probably has some. If the hole is stripped I would just drill it out and tap it for the closest size to the hole that cleans out the old threads. Or you can buy a timney trigger.
