Just picked up my first mosin today a 35' izzy hex. Upon disassembly I found the trigger pin literally falling out?
Are these pins normally swagged in each side of the trigger housing ears?
Never had one apart so Im assuming? Any info appreciated.

They are easy to pop out with the metal out of the stock. When installed in the stock the pin can't come out. There are varying degrees of tightness from gun to gun but function when installed will essentially be the same.

^This. When disassembling the rifle, you can tape the pin in place until you're ready to reassemble.

Yeah i have a 1935 Tula Hex and my pin is the same , i just put it with the screws that hold the stock and gun together while cleaning.
