I was looking at some mosins the other day and a couple stood out, one of course was a nice 32 hex but the other was because it had a very wide/thick stock compared to the others around it. I have a few mosins and the ones I was looking at were very vey nicely refurbed, but this one didn't look that way, it had no refurb marks but I admittedly did not have a chance to look it all over. I think it was a 39, the reciever was quite rough, more so than my own and way more than the others around it, I was just wondering, are there many non refurbs getting through? The bore was nice but not new for sure! So is this just an ugly duckling or what? Like I said, the rest are primo super shiney recievers and nice dark blueing with the red background on the sights!
