Mossberg 100 ATR Night Train

Not looking for anything super special general hunting, and some casual target shooting - but for $600.... seems like a sweet deal considering they usually go for around $900... thoughts?

Didn't Savage make a gun to directly compete with the Night Train? The Savage Nighthawk?

Frontier has the Nighthawks on for $700 plus taxes and shipping.

Eek, sorry to start a new post about an old post! Read the old post, and it pretty much made me decide against the mossberg. I think I'll stick with my original plan of getting a 7mm Rem mag Savage 111FCXP, use the scope this season and upgrade to a bushnell 3200 or equivalent next year... ( or maybe next paycheque )
