mossberg 100 atr rifle

I'd be interested to hear about this, too. On paper it looks like the right ingredients to be good for a low-priced rifle, but there don't seem to be many making it out of the shops. With the Stevens 200 only a few dollars more and having the Savage reputation behind it, that isn't surprising. I haven't seen a Mossberg 100 "in the flesh" and have seen only a few comments on the Internet from actual users. These range from "crap" to "I've got one and it shoots great." The trouble is you don't know if the guy who says "crap" says that about everything because it is easy to criticise and makes him seem like an expert, or if the guy who says it shoots great has never had anything else to compare it to.

I've got a .270 that i got from SIR tis summer,it carries good, shoots just as good as my Ruger M77 has a no non-sense stock and finish on it that you can stomp around in the bush with it and not worry about it. I get consistant 1.5" groups @ 100 yds with factory ammo. I've been using it for moose this year and hopefully I'll connect on a bull this season and see how it does. For the $299.00 price tag it's a perefect hunting rifle. If you want MOA accuracy buy something more expensive. But if your looking for a simple tough hunting rifle check them out.
