Mossberg 12ga 30in full choke rarity / quality / value

I'm trying to find out what this barrel is worth .
It's a 30" full choke mossberg barrel. I cant find out when they were discontinued. Or the estimated value as I only found 1 in Canada for sale @ 120 bones. Are these older barrels a high quality than newer 28" barrels ?
I got the gun/barrel as a present and my dad prefers the 28" with the interchangeable chokes instead of a fixed 30" full choke ..... any ideas?
 
They are very common. If you check Ellwood Epps, you will probably find at least one listed there. The value would depend on the condition it's in. Blueing loss, rust, missing front bead or other flaws will bring it down. $120 isn't unreasonable if it's in great shape. Keep in mind that a lot of people agree with your dad, so you may have it for sale for a while before finding a buyer.

Around 100$ if you want to sell, 30 inch fixed full choke barrels are out of fashion and there are many people out there trying to get rid of them.

Guess not, thought it was 18.5" limit big whoop (guess it's better to be over the limit than under eh) , I've had my pal for 7 years so whatever they taught then I remember that's about it .
It used to be 18.5" then it got changed to 18" aslong as the overall gun length is 30". Good to know now.

It’s still 18.5” for semi. 18” for manual arms and overall length of 26”, not 30”. The rules have not changed but they can be hard to keep straight and lots of misinformation gets passed along. It’s inadvertent I’m sure but not very helpful.

But yes, far better to be over the limit than under it.
