Comments please from those of you who have used one of these. What ammo did yours like / not like and what, if any, spare parts other than a firing pin and extractor should I start looking for? Thanks to all, Kayceel

Mine drilled a ragged hole at 50 yds with RWS Target. The RWS club opened up to just over half an inch. I think I left the target at the range because I have looked for it and can't find it.I haven't had a lot of time to try anything else. Last time I went to the range I forgot to put it in a case and it got left at home in the safe. Nice solid rifles.

Thanks for that ammo comment Archer Sam - it is definitely sounding as though buying the rifle was the cheap part of the equation - unless it decides it likes Champion 710 or 714 when I finally get it to the range LOL! Kayceel

That ammo was around $6-7/50 so not crazy expensive. Just have to find it. I'm looking for more now as well. Most of the old Mossbergs like CCI SV. I've tried it in a few of mine and it wasn't too bad. Grab a few different brands of what you have available in your area and see what it likes.

A local friend and co instructor with Dauphin Jr. Rifle still shoots ( and does well ) in MPRA Smallbore and has a variety of RWS, Lapua and Eley tucked away- and will be at Beechburg shortly to officiate. I will send along some cash so he can get me a couple of boxes of a few higher quality ammo types to try out. I already have CCI green tag and some Champion 714 in the lower end to try out. Thanks again, Kayceel
