MOSSBERG 146B rifles

I have an excellent 146b but I need a few parts, front sight hood, red plastic “fire” indicator and the little locking clip for the sling toggle. Where is the best place to source these especially the sight hood?

Make your own.

Your 146B with the T bolt handle would be a 1949 or early 1950 model if the T handle is original. Your other 146B would be later. The sight hoods are hard to find so HuskyDude has a solution if you are half handy. In 1964 the Vancouver Sun ran an article "Canada's Top Shooter" and the lady was using a 146B.

I have 2. Mossberg 146 B rifles one with. T knob and one with the round knob -Thinking on selling them both as I NEVER shoot them. Both in EXCELLENT CONDITION . any market for these ? Thxs RJ

I like your train of thought. These seem to be rather rare...I don't have a 146B but I do have a couple of real nice versions of it cousins that are collecting dust that would go well with those in somebody's collection. I have 2 151M-B's...the rougher of the 2 works great, the nicer one needs a firing pin and a retention pin but is otherwise beautiful.

Nice old full wood trainers with old Mossberg flip out sites and 3 different front site blades. Cool old rigs for sure that should see more use then they do.

Few yrs back saw an "45b needs work" on our EE...didn't have one so I bought it.
Started a thread on RFC on refurbishing it, with lots of pics.
One of the members pointed out it was actually a 46b...LOL
Remember saying embarrassingly... how bad it was that my camera could tell and I could not...till I put my glasses on.
