Anything special about these bolt action .410s or can they be put on the EE without flinching? I find having a bolt action shotgun pretty cool, but I think a Mossberg 500 in .410 would be more practical. Basically a 'keep it or sell it' question. Usage would be for grouse in the fall. Although it has killed a few skunks/foxes(chicken killers) as well.

I have owned a couple. Nothing special and not especially well made. They work well for grouse. Parts are scarce as they have been discontinued for a long time. Both mine through wear would fire on closing the bolt and the metal is not the best in those areas so it is hard to correct on a permanent basis. Other than that, they are light and point like a rifle and I shot a lot of grouse with the ones I owned.

Had 3, just sold one to the neighbour's kid for grouse. I'm keeping the best one and eventually give the other to my son for grouse.
Cheep ( $100 give or take ) and fun. Great grousers as has been said. Fun gun for kids to pop baloons with or blast away at beer cans.
There are parts available in the US from Havlin - there were millions of these made under the Mossberg name and others.
