mossberg 195k-a 12 gauge bolt action

well this was the first gun my dad ever got me, its pretty beat up but i was looking to try my hand at getting it going again.

after looking around and calling most of north america i found out the shops in the US will not ship the clip or the stock into canada, i was able to get a used 195 that had a clip but now i am still left with needing a stock that is not cracked in a thousand different spots.

just curious if any one reading this has a few tips or knows how i can go about fixing the moss.

thanks all
mike

thanks for the reply

I purchased a clip for my 195 2 years ago from this store in Missouri. They specialize in older Mossbergs. I ordered it online and it arrived in London Ontario in about 10 days. Here is the link: http://www.havlinsales.com/

Rick in London.

I have a 395 KA bolt in 12 guage. also 183KA in .410. as for the stock. there are stock makers that can copy your stock . Mine cost $100 plus shipping. The mag can be gotten from Western Gun parts but they are expensive. I too believe that it is the same as a 395 mag.

I sent for a quote for a 395 magazine from the parts people in Saskatchewan, they quoted me $75 bucks not including taxes, shipping or any additional fees, this was last year. I would not advise buying from Western. I would advise buying from Numrich if you absolutely must have a genuine replacement magazine for your Mossberg.

Numrich aka Gun Parts Corp, will ship to Canada, you just have to pay a little extra to cover the cost of the paperwork involved.

They have extra magazines in stock, but are currently sold out of replacement stocks. You can keep checking back regularly; eventually they'll have more in stock from stripped guns.

If you were looking for replacment mags for the 16 ga version, then I coulda' helped you, as I have two brand new mags sitting on my computer desk right now for the Model 190 series shotguns.

Cut & paste the link I supplied. You'll find a complete run down of all the small parts for the 195K. Good luck.
