I have a mossberg 22 tac and i am wondering if anyone has modded the carrying handle/sight to the point of removing it and making it a flat top.Cuz right now with when i put a 3x9 power scope on it will not sight in after 25 yards i think its called paralax or something.It fine with the browning red dot sight i have on it. Right now this is what i have done with it so far. did my own paint job on which i am happy with. Here are some pics of it

i don't have the coin where i am school now so tell i get work after i am done with welding school i realy can't spend to much.Got to be cheap this time round
 
Yah ,I love the paint to.
I don't like the charge handle model so much. My eyes are getting bad and I need a scope on everything except my shotguns. The charge handle model I had a chance to look at with a scope on it lifted my head way too high off the stock for my liking.
I ordered a Flat Top (adj. stock,25 rd mag) from Cabela's a week ago. No delivery date but I'm not in a hurry.
I'll likely post something once it shows up at my door.
 
yeah i would love to get the flat top would probley fix my scope problems that i am having on this model at the moment seeing were she will not sight in past 25 yards.And for the paint job alot of people are telling me they like even the old timers at the range.So i am thinking about painting my 22-250 now to maybe even my m14 not sure on that thou.
 
I've used scopes , reflex . tubular red dot optics and even a laser ...never had any probs with distance from 25 out to 85yd.
As far as cheek weld I put the ATI Strikeforce cheekriser and buttpad on it
