i have a 22 trainer it is stamped us property ....it has british proof marks so it was used over there ....should i put it in rimfire or military to sell....any idea of the value thanks don
"US Property" means Lend-Lease. Like the Savage made No. 4s. British proofs suggests it was sold surplus in the UK.
If you list it in Rimfire, someone will do a post report that it belongs in Military Surplus.
If it is in Military Surplus, someone will report that it should be in Rimfire.
Either would be OK.
If it is in fine condition, it might be of more interest to a military collector, rather than being a vintage .22 plinker.
Also depends on the model and condition, what the value would be.
There are couple mossberg trainers in the milsurp forum but don't think it's getting the traction they want. As I seen them posted between 250 and 600. For say a 42 or 44 US.
