Mossberg 342B?

I am New to CGN, but am interested if there is anyone else still using a Mossberg 342B/346B .22LR. I have one that was passed down to me, that I have cherished, and wanted to know if anyone else has one, and what they think of it. I purchased a Ruger 10/22 to replace it as my plinking gun, to minimize wear on the Mossberg, as it was passed down from my grandfather, and has a lot of sentimental value to me, however, I still take it out once a month and put a few rounds down range just to remember. Let me know if you have/had one, and share any stories or photos about the gun.

I have one and it is a tack driver. Haven't been out shooting for long time , and this one will be passed down . Peep sights and when I was doing well it could stand up to any other .22 out there. Was fussy with different ammo, but once I found the right one ( federal ? ) it was bang on .

I like these old mossbergs ,they were the utility rifle of the day ,but they shot very well...and still do

You can't go wrong with an old Mossy!I have a model 46B an a 153k that I shoot regularly and love them.You can pick up these older guns fairly reasonable and parts are still around if you look.
