Model 342K hammerless bolt action carbine.



22 lr, 7 shot detachable box magazine. 18" barrel. Weight 5 lbs. Stock has no cheekpiece, extension forearm is hinged, pulls down to form handgrip, sling swivels and web strap on left side of stock.. No. S109 front sight, No. S134 rear sight, No. S108 receiver sight. 342 made 1957-1959. Exploded View 342K made 1957-1960. Exploded View 342K-A made 1960-1974.

If it is the 342K with the peep site value could be around $250.0-$275.00 if in nice condition. If average condition or below or no peep site value drops. You can take off about $80.00 if no peep site.
 
Might try Western Gun Parts in Edmonton. You could probably get one from Numrich in the US but they charge an arm and a leg for postage and "international fee". The fee and postage would be about $40.00 from them plus the pin. You could get one from Havlins in the US but they won't ship to Canada or take a Canadian form of payment so you would have to know someone in the US to order you one. You could try gunrunner100 or lever76, both forum members here.
 
I forgot to mention that there is a fellow in Winnipeg by the name of Bob Harvich who has Mossberg parts. If he doesn't have a firing pin, someone told me he makes certain ones. Don't know if this is one that he makes. Anyhow, I don't want to plaster his phone number on the net so send me a pm if you want his number.
