Mossberg 375

If it is like other current Mossberg rifles it would be my last choice as a .375.

The chintzy plastic box mag is not a great idea on a big bore rifle if its intended for hard use or actual dangerous game hunting IMO.

Doesn't Tikka use a plastic mag?? Polymer firearm parts being unacceptable seems to be a ship that has sailed some time ago. A Sako isn't in my budget. Anyway, has the Mossberg 375 made to any shelves yet?

I have no issue with plastic firearm parts per se and really like my Tikka. However I have not handled a single mossberg rifle that I liked and they have had issues (splined bolt handles being one). For the same price I would prefer the Howa or a used Ruger.

I have found the Howa 1500 to be an excellent choice in 375 Ruger.
Overall finish and quality control far exceed both 375 Rugers that I tried to make work.
Accuracy is better than anticipated considering the 20 " barrel and being stainlees is an asset.
