Hello, I have a old 400G that used to be a reliable gun. I had it out the other day and it started to jamb and not cycle. anyways I took it in stripped it down and cleaned & oiled it. cycled just fine until I loaded it up then started to jamb after the first discharge again… any ideas?

Remove the shell carrier ('lifter') from the receiver. Check to see if the round 'ears' on the shell carrier that fit into the receiver walls are spinning around on their respective axis. If so, time for a new shell carrier (they may be found at gunparts.com).
