I have a mossberg 400g that I want to upgrade and give to my son when his pal comes in.
It needs some parts replaced. Mostly springs and extractor but while searching for the parts I came by a mossberg 500 24" barrel shell tube for sale.
I know the barrel will fit but is the tube also compatible? The 400g has an external spring and the 500 doesn't.
Hope someone can help me out.
