Mossberg 42MC

I added the 42MC to my collection last fall and spent most of the winter refinishing the stock, adding a 3-9 Bushnell (the original sights were missing), and generally cleaning it up etc. It is now pretty, but does it shoot?

Has anyone had experience with this model and what sort of groups can I expect at say 75 or 100 yards.

I have a sportered 42MC w/ Williams peep sight. I haven't shot beyond 75m and at that distance I usually shoot at a 5"x4" steel plate. Haven't missed it yet (I'll have to find a smaller piece of steel.) It's been a while since I've shot it, but IIRC shooting a box at a time: on paper, I can get Twoonie sized groups at 50m. Quarter sized at 25m. It seems to like Winchester Wildcat. It hates Winchester Xperts (too soft; wouldn't feed 100% of the time and the lead fouling was bad).
