Hey all - picked up a wood stocked Mossberg 464 30-30 in decent condition, however the firing pin doesn't strike the primer with enough authority to fire the cartridge.
I have removed the bolt, cleaned the pin and interior of the bolt where the pin resides, ensured the locking plate isn't in backwards, it seems the hammer just doesn't fall hard enough.
Does anyone have any experience with these - is there a way I can tension up the hammer spring so it comes down harder?
Thanks in advance,
Cam
