Mossberg 500 Barrels

It seems like everyone and their dog are looking for various types of Mossberg barrels. Every fourth post on EE is WTB Mossberg barrel.

Tight supply from the US? Are no retailers able to get these barrels in?


If anyone has more info on this it would be appreciated, even more so if you could point me in the direction of a retailer that has some available.

Well, I'm after a 24" vent rib, accu choke, but who couldn't use an 18.5 cylinder bore?

I wouldn't mind trying the 500 muzzleloading barrel as well. I have read that it's a quick way of dirtying up the action.
 
I picked up a factory 20" vent-rib with dual beads and choke tubes (cyl, mod and full) from MilArm for just over $200 to my door.

Sounds like a lot for a 500 barrel, but it was exactly what I wanted without incurring gunsmithing fees.

It's perfect for bush-whacking and more "tactical" styled shooting. :)

That 20" is very close to what I'm after. I'll give MilArm a try. THX
