Mossberg 500 combo

I just committed to buy a Mossberg 500 combo with a 28" barrel with 3 chokes and a rifled slug barrel ( rifled sights I assume). It is a camo model.

Anyone know anything about these guns?

What kind of sights are on the slug barrel?

Any evaluations of this gun?


It's a done deal. I bought it, but I don't really know what I'm in for.
 
hello. I have two of these guns. Mine are the 500 Field model. I really like them. They are rugged and preform very well in all conditions I have used them in. I am pretty sure they are the only shotgun to under go the U.S military gun testing and pass.
For the money I think you would be hard pressed to find a better gun...I like the placement of the safety and the slide release better then the 870's.
I do not have a slug barrel for mine so I cant comment on them.
 
Both the Remington 870 and the Mossberg Pump action shotguns are the most popular shotguns (military, law enforcement, hunting, etc) on the market today and because of this, have the most after market accessories available.
