Mossberg 500 Mako Side Rails Removal

On the Mossberg 500 Mako version it comes with a trail rail setup. 2 rails are on either side of the forend that are held on with allen key bolts. As I took off the allen key bolts the nuts that they were attached to fell on the inside of the foregrip. So now there are 4 bolts floating around in the forend that don't appear to want to come out very easily.

Has anyone else ever done this?
 
For those that end up searching on here an come across this thread, you have to take off the forend and then disassemble the forend to get the nuts out.
