Mossberg 500 metal trigger assembly headspace?

I have contacted one of the Mossberg dealer here in Canada for a metal trigger assembly for my Mossberg 500 Persuader, but he does not sell this part to individual because the gun will need to be headspaced and fitted, I've never heard of this before, is it true?
 
I ordered mine thru brownells... Hes full of ch!t ( also sold the plastic housing pack on EE to recover some of my money )

I did have to fit the safety lever to the same length as my factory one. Took 5 minutes. I also removed the 2nd trigger spring for a smoother trigger pull.

If you are ordering from Brownells , Order the metal oversize safety as well and a HiViz front bead sight... :)

Love my persuader, Oh yeah cant forget S&J Follower and spring :)

Mossberg 500 & 590 parts are fully interchangeable.
Have at it.

I currently have a 500 trigger group in my 590 Mariner. No issues. Drops right in. And the 590 trigger group drops into the 500.

DILLIGAF what's the finish on your gun? And how did you remove the magazine tube on your 500 to install the S&J Follower and spring?
