Hi everyone,

Anyone have any info of these? They are available across the border would be awesome for Muzzleloader Season in NS. Seem like a cheap option to get into muzzleloading especially if someone had a maverick 88 or Mossberg 500. Can we get them? Are they legal would importing one be double the price?

My BIL had one it shot not too bad, but was a pig to clean as there is no breech plug. He used it a couple of seasons but the barrel cracked. I think he short seated the bullet leaving an air gap which is a no-no with black powder. I'm sure it is available somewhere in Canada, but I would get an inexpensive in line myself ie CVA wolf or TC impact. I have had both and both are good shooters. Just my .02

I seen one a few years ago in the Tillsonburg gun store. I think yoy would be way better of with a cva wolf .you can get them for around 300$ or so brand new .very easy to learn to shoot and clean .. Dutch

Hunting buddy bought one of those here in Saskatoon for his Mossberg 400 must be almost 20 years ago worked well . If he missed a deer it was shooter error .
Only real problem was the weight of it all must have weighed 12 to 13 lbs. without a scope . Not so bad if your a blind /stand hunter but we were into walking all day .
Think he ended up trading it for a Knight muzzleloader that weighed about 6 1/2.
