mossberg 500 persuader

can u interchange 500 model barrels with the 8 shot persuader?
looking at the mossberg web page i get the impression that the barrels only interchange with the 6 shot persuader. i would greatly appreciate some clarification on this. Thanks!

Here's the reply that I got from Mossberg Service to the same question about my Mossberg 500 Persuader:

"Thank you for your e-mail. The barrels that are offered for your 8 shot model are a 20" cylinder bore barrel and a 28" accu barrel. If you would like additional information you may contact us direct at our toll free number 1-800-363-3555. Have a Great Day!!"

The problem with installing other barrels is the longer magazine tube on the 8-shot model. That's how Doug got my "spare" barrel that I bought. :lol:

so if i got the six shot persuader id be good to go with any 500 barrel?
