Mossberg 500 Short Barrel

Hey, I have used the search function and this subject has been beaten a bit.
Is there any new development since I don't know of?
I have an 18.5'', and would like a 16'' so the barrel finishes flush with mag tube, Mossberg 500

14, 18.5 and 20" are the only factory Mossberg lengths that I know of. Good luck finding a 14" now... just remember that you need a new magtube and forend when you get into a 14" barrel (as they are shorter), if you can find it. My 14" is still a 5+1 capacity.

Sounds like you want the 14" 590A1:

I believe that TSE has a run of 16" Fabarm's with folding stocks, making them NR.

Love my 14" Fabarm, it's pure awesomeness.

Yeah i used to have a 590A1, sold it because i get the shotgun out 1 maybe two times a year
Found this beauty 500 thats 5+1 with an 18" barrel on the EE, inexpensive and gets the job done, too bad our laws cannot have me cutting that 18" to 16".
Its just for looks, i wont go out. Of my way or budget to accomplish the 16", was just wondering if there was something out there.

Think you're stuck with that 18.5" barrel on the 500. You can't cut it down, and the mag tube doesn't accept extensions to bring it flush.

Yep just researched it a bit and this seems right.
No issues i dont compete with or use shotguns that much, will stay as is.
