Mossberg 500 sling stud

I have been thinking about putting a sling on my mossberg 500 and have seen a few different styles and was wondering what has worked well or not worked out so good for anyone who has already done it.
It seems there is either a plate that slips in between the barrel and the screw and a stud in the wood in the back end, or something that replaced the barrel screw with one that has a sling attachment on the end.
Any comments/suggestions of brands/kits are appreciated.

I believe all mossburg 500's have a threaded hole in the end of the barrel bolt and you just thread a sling swivel into it, ill try to post up a picture of mine right soon, its on a synthetic camo stock.

my rifled barrel has a stud in the barrel nut, but my older 30" barrel doesnt.

Anybody know how to remove the nut from the barrel?
