I have too many shotguns and just wanted to help out those looking for an 'up-level' tac'd 500 at an amazing price.

Edit: I asked BBB about this and he said, NO.

Some pluses about the 500 is that it's lighter and has a blued finish. This may be negatives to some, but the polymer trigger group and safety can be swapped out for metal ones.

I asked BBB about my 18.5" 5 shot mag on my 500 and he said YES. He'd be the best guy to ask for details. Could probably squeeze a +2 on there.

Cool. +2 would be cutting it close for getting it flush with the barrel. It would either be bang on or just a bit long I figure.

Like this. EL34 is right, +2 would be too long unless a brake or breacher was added to the barrel then it would be flush.

You would need to put a new mag tube on it then to get this^^^^ too work, basically making it a 590 configuration. Even then that looks like a 590. The diameter of the barrel lug would not fit over a new tube so you would also need a new barrel. I really don't think it's possible to get this to work on a 500.

Someone ask BBB as he would know what is involved or if it's feasible. $375 is still damned cheap for this shotgun in stock form, with money left over for mods if you choose.

A PM'd him and he said that extensions don't work on 500's. I must have asked him about my 5 shot 18.5" 590A1 and not my 500

. So, there goes that idea
