Mossberg 500 stock options?

Hello,
I’m leaving king for some advice on a mossberg 500 adjustable stock and pistol grip kit.
So I just recently purchased an ATI set off the EE but I find the pistol grip is angled to much, not comfortable at all.
Is there a set where the grip is more vertical, kinda like an AR pistol grip,not angled back so much as the ATI?

Check out the Mesa tactical LEO stock, it uses an ar style pistol grip, buffer tube and stock. The make a version for mossberg models if I recall correctly, they’re well built and solid.

There’s lots to choose from the same company, just not sure what to get,

Keep in mind that there are two styles of forearms for Mossberg shotguns. The old style, which uses a tube that the foreend attaches to, and the newer style which has the action bars attached directly to the foreend.

Right on, hope you like it. I have been more than happy with mine, nice thing is you can swap out the grip and buttstock for different styles to suit your own tastes.

The Streamlight racker is a very decent forend, even if you don't want a light, very compact, good grip .
Ergo make a few different options , they make one with picatinny rails , they make a m lok version and a key mod one .
Probably the nicest one , if you're not mounting a light , is the Hogue over molded one .
And of course, the Magpul one , its okay .
Those are the ones that come to mind first.

If you already have AR parts kicking around you can buy JUST the stock adapter for like half that price, and then add your own grip and buttstock.

I do have a couple of pistol grips and a buffer tube,CTR stock kicking around, so there is that option.
I did see a forend with a built light, it looks half decent?

S SA Lao thinking I need to get rid of the front bead and put on something in tritium.

If you use the Magpul CTR stock, limbsaver makes a very nice fitted recoil pad for it, it makes a huge difference over the one on the that comes with the CTR .

ERGO make an AR adapter like the MESA. I paid $60 for mine. That said I just ordered the MESA adapter to try out, I think I will like the straight stock better than the sloped ERGO setup

I personally wouldn't grab that kit it is quite expensive for what it is.

You can grab the LEO adapter and grab buffer tube and any mil-spec stock for cheaper than that. I would suggest Magpul grip and stock.

I have 4 Mossbergs all with these adapters on them and they are great. I can send pics if you want to see them.

Right now if you search Mesa on here and G**p**t you can find them cheap!

I used to have the Mesa and CTR stock but reaching the controls on my 590 sucked so I switched to a Magpul SGA. Doesn't look as good but it's way more functional.
