Mossberg 535 Barrel

Just wondering if Mossberg 500 Barrels would be compatible with a Mossberg 535.

i believe they dont. it would be nice tho. or any 14'' barrel.

Nope the 535 has a 13" tube the 500s have a 14" tube. They did that so noone would put a 3.5" shell into a 3" chambered barrel

I have "heard" that you can but can only fire 3" shells and need to get a 500 mag tube which I don't believe cost too much...question is why a 535 barrel? Not able to get a 500 barrel in your neck of the woods? At least you don't have an 835 haha

When I asked my mossberg dealer he said they also lock up to the receiver differently.

Sounds like its time for a new gun!
For the cost of the 3 barrel packages, just get yourself a new gun.
