So i just picked up on of these fine beauties today after waiting oh so long...

I'm happy with the purchase so far, but I've noticed that the front sight is a little wobbly. To owners of 590 blackwater editions, is your front xs sight wobbly too?

Sounds like the whole gun is defective and should be sent to me for disposal. Now, being such a nice guy, I will even send you a coffee AND donut winning rim pieces for timmies.

In all seriousness try a quarter turn at a time on the screw, see if it tightens up. If not talk to whoever you bought it from.

That little screw is to make windage adjustments and might be loose. Snug it up but don't over tighten it or you could strip it.

Are you referring to the back sight right? I referring to the front sight, where the removable sight blade is wobbly. There looks like a small screw holding it in place but I can't figure out what to use to try to tighten it.

I would feel bad to give you a gun that is defective.... It's bad karma. I appreciate the offer though!

I believe it should be small hex key.

just look in the hole with a flashlight and see what kind of screw head it is.....

then get the right tool and tighten it.....

If you can't do this yourself, well....not sure what else we can do to help. Just return the gun. Or get it to a gunsmith to take care of it for you. I can do the work for $19.95+ shipping if you mail it to me. I will need to test fire at least a case to ensure proper function so you will need to supply ammo as well. If you can't clean it yourself, then I have a $67.89 cleaning fee. Or, I can include everything in a package price including shipping for the low low price of $267.99. Only valid till yesterday. Some conditions apply. Not valid for residents of Toronto, Vancouver, or Truro.
